Frank, Coats of Arms were granted to two Kirkmans as spelled out in the letter, which was dated 6th September 1993. (I had sent a photocopy of the Coat of Arms shown on the front of a Kirkman document I have had for several years and also some information from Burke's General Armory). The letter follows:

| I know there is no way to prove descent from John Parke Kirkman, since our family was all in the United States by the time he was granted arms. |
